Kult Creations: Small Press – Big Ideas!
Reverend Cross – with artist Jason Dennis. The crazy manga-style adventure comic charts the adventures of the first ever, female vicar, action hero! She’s under orders from the Archbishop of Canterbury to hunt down supernatural menaces… She licensed to kick demon ass!
The Sixpenny Murder – with artist David Hitchcock. This dark real-life story tells the story of a notorious street-gang murder in Victorian Liverpool. Commissioned as part of a programme going into schools to talk to children about gang-culture and knife-crime.
Savage! Jungle Princess – with artist Gabrielle Noble. The most fun you can have with your loin-cloth on! It features Nazis, zombies, dinosaurs, ninjas and Amazons.
The Clock Strikes! – with artist Vincent Danks. A revival of the first ever masked hero from American comic-books. This hero from before Superman and Batman is now public domain and he’s brought back to life here, in his original era, in full film-noir-style.
Armageddon Patrol – With artist Alwyn Talbot. The title that asks the question ‘What if superheroes had been drafted and sent to the Vietnam War back in the 1960s?’ With black humour and grim action.
Octobriana: The Underground History. This book features an examination of the origin and history of a unique underground comix legend. An underground, public domain, communist super-heroine. Hailed as the ultimate book on the comix phenomenon.

Reverend Cross 001 – Written by John A. Short with art by Jason Dennis. This title features the adventures of the first ever female vicar action hero! Abigail Cross is to the Church of England what James Bond is to MI6. Under the direct command of the Archbishop of Canterbury, it’s Abby’s mission to take care of any supernatural threats to the UK. Armed with Bible grenades, crucifix shaped throwing-stars and twin automatic pistols, she licensed to kick demon ass! The first issue sees Reverend Cross up against an army of Nazi zombies! A vicar’s work is never done.
